Top Tips for Using Evaluation for Communications

Communications professionals play a dual role: they mobilize communications vehicles to achieve their nonprofit’s mission, and they use those vehicles to promote their organization’s progress towards its mission.

Elena recently shared ways communications professionals use evaluation to be more effective in their work on a webinar hosted by The Communications Network. Her presentation focused on simple shifts in thinking about evaluation for conferences and events; reports and publications; media and PR; and social media.

Even if you replace it with nothing - you should stop sending out post-conference surveys. It’s not getting good information, and it is affecting the experience of the people in your program.
